Are agency workers an option?

BSV traditionally sees a surge in the calls from our clients who need extra staff to see them through the festive rush/shut down. We haven’t seen this yet so is this a reaction to the new “agency worker” regulations?

The rule that gives temps equal pay after 12 weeks in a job has seen a 13% drop in advertised agency jobs, according to the Association of Professional Staffing Companies. Should the Government remove unnecessary rights added to the UK version of the EU directive or is it a case of the vacancies just not being there?
